Your intake plumbing is held together with duct tape

Also one of the four(!) screw clamps was loose on the FIPK and the filter was just sitting there in the fender well, not attached to anything.

Slightly more ghetto than blocking it off with a deodorant cap.

R&R’ing the air filter is kind of a pain in the ass.

Interestingly the water pump and t-stat housing bleeder look new, or maybe just really clean..

What does that lead to? In the B-bodies (LT1 Roadmaster Estate here), there’s an opening on the top of the elbow which goes into a silencer (aka “home plate”). We simply remove home plate and stick a hockey puck in the hole.

Same here; went to a sporting goods store and picked up a used puck for like 75 cents. I also went the home depot route for the “first base” delete, albeit with an actual K&N filter and custom housing.
